Shimo Asao Fudo

On January 28, Shimo Asao’s immovable people are crowded with 100,000 visitors every year.

400 street vendors line the eaves on both sides of the narrow road, of which about 20 are Darumaya.

The earliest “Dharma City” in the Kanto area is Shopukuji Temple in Odawara, and most of them are concentrated in the year-end, and this is “Nano Daruma City”.

More than 600 years ago, Shimo-Asao villagers discovered Fudo-Ming-Oh in a thriving wooden pirates (Tokusa) and built a temple to worship them.

Even now, there is a sales corner for farm equipment in one part of the festival, showing the history that has taken root in this area.
